LEVEL III AUTHENTICATION

Implemented by 20 central banks, including two G7 banks, our covert materials, high-speed authentication sensor systems, and quality control systems provide the highest level of banknote security worldwide.

As central banks increasingly transition to polymer banknotes, Spectra Systems’ Fusion™ polymer substrate with embedded level III material protects against counterfeiters who have easy access to commercially available polymer films.  Fusion is delivered to banknote printing facilities in print-ready sheet form to the specifications of the central bank.  Finished banknotes printed on Fusion substrate can be authenticated on a single note detector, or at high speeds on the industry’s fastest banknote sorting systems.
