Real-time detection of defects enables quick correction resulting in minimal time and material losses. Spectra provides solutions that detect non-conforming products at production speed (in-line vision systems) and for spot checks (off-line vision systems). Our solutions are customized to our customer’s specific requirements and typically include optically active materials to enable reliable detection of product defects.
Mounted on paper manufacturing machines and printing presses, Spectra Systems’ sensors monitor the addition of authentication materials and provide real-time data to the control system allowing immediate adjustment of addition rates.
Spectra Systems’ materials are added to products or product components to enhance the vision system’s ability to detect product defects at critical points in the manufacturing process.
Our optical materials can be added to products during manufacturing to enable field checks for authentication.
